1. What was your life like before you accepted Christ? Use this area to provide some background and connection points for your reader. They need to be able to identify with your struggles and experience. Ask your self these questions:

What did my life revolve around?

What issues or things were important to me?

What did I think of God? of Jesus?

What did I rely on for security and happiness? Consider making this a theme to provide some continuity throughout your story

2. How did you receive Christ? Paint a "word picture" of the situation. Think about the following questions:

Where were you?

Alone in your room? Driving in your car? At a church service?

What thoughts went through your mind?

What feelings did you struggle with just before your decision?

How did you yield your life to Christ? What did you say?

3. After you received Christ, what changes have taken place? Consider the following questions and try to use words that a non-christian will understand:

Did you struggle with your faith?

How did God answer prayer, or strengthen you in difficult situations?

How are you different than you were before?

How have the changes in your life influenced others around you?
