The Power to Change Campaign is a church based, media campaign that uses testimonies about people’s changed lives to increase awareness of Jesus Christ in the community. In addition, the campaign effectively equips the laity through training workshops to become vibrant witnesses in their sphere of influence. Supported and encouraged by churches of all denominations, the campaign was successfully launched in Vancouver, BC in February 1999. More than 600 churches were involved, 18,500 people were trained in how to share their faith and 1.5 million saw the advertisements. Most saw them an average of 15 times.

It equips believers world wide with a powerful evangelism tool called powertochange.com where four people responded for each person who called the 1800 number during the Power to Change campaign in Vancouver. This site is built specifically for seekers. Often 15 or more people indicate decisions for Christ on it in a week! In addition, e-vangelism equips Christians to witness and disciple online by using their own personal life story on the site or by becoming involved as an online mentor of new believers.
