Four Areas of Involvement:

1. The Neighbourhood Strategy:
Churches are making commitments to reach out to their local neighbourhoods, divided into blocks of 50 homes. Your investment of time - a few evenings over the course of three weeks to make telephone appointments and then to visit those who are interested - can change a person’s life for eternity! Churches should contact their local Operations Manager for information on obtaining a geographic list of names and addresses.

2. Special Events and Church Ministries:
Over the next several weeks churches will be involved in using the Power to Change theme to reach out through existing ministries and special events. As you bring people to these events you become part of the Power to Change campaign.

Please prayerfully consider whom you will bring to these events in the days ahead and begin to pray for them.

3. Personal Opportunities:
During the campaign we are asking you to pray for and trust God for “divine appointments” for up to 10 people with whom you can share your faith as a “way of life.” This includes neighbours, friends, coworkers, classmates and family members. The Power to Change training will show you how to initiate the conversation, share Christ and follow up.

4. Call Centre/Internet Response:
As people respond to the media campaign via telephone and the Internet, we will need trained Christians to contact any neighbours who respond. The training sessions will prepare you to deliver the Power to Change packet to someone in your area.
