29, 2001 Imagine, 95% of the people of Manitoba being exposed to the Gospel in just four weeks! From March 19 to April 15, on TV, on Billboards and other media, we will hear and see Paul Henderson, Catriona LaMay Doan, "Pinball Clemons, Billy Diamond and Sara Preston explain how they found the power to change through Jesus Christ. A 1-800 number and a WEB SITE will give people an opportunity to respond to the commercials. Already 175 churches from across the province have committed to being involved to follow up respondents and to share the Good News with their nieghbourhoods.Many have already attended strategy meetings and are making plans for training their congregations in evangelism. It is our prayer to have at least 5000 workers trained. At our Trainers' Training on January 26, every Power to Change banner that was available was taken. Don't worry, more are on the way! For the uninformed, Power to Change is an extensive media based campaign coming to all of Manitoba. The province has been divided into six regions and each region is planning events and activities that will help present the claims of Christ to the unchurched. If your church is still not signed up don't delay. Check out the various aspects of this campaign on this WEB SITE.
