Saskatchewan Campaign Timeline
Week 1: August 27 - September 2
9 weeks to campaign start: Pulpit theme - "New Opportunities"
- With church coordinator, confirm the strategies your
church will utilize
- Determine how many of your congregation will be involved in taking
the training
- With church coordinator, set material goals (estimated numbers of
packets required for your church)
- Begin to implement prayer strategy

Week 2: September
3 - 9
8 weeks to campaign start: Pulpit theme - "God can use everyone"
- Prayer, Planning and Preparation week
- Continue to outline strategies
- Recruit assistants
- Determine church budget using the planning
sheet
- Set aside “PtoC room” - physical facility for
campaign coordination and mapping
- Make plans to install more phone lines - if using
the Neighbourhood Strategy
- Set up equipment to show video next Sunday (Sept.
17)
- Prepare bulletin
insert #1 (Sept. 17) with campaign dates and local
church contact

Week 3: September
10 - 16
7 weeks to campaign start: Pulpit theme -"The Power to Change"
- Inform congregation of PtoC campaign happening:
- November 5 to December 3, 2000
- Introduce Promo video
- “Talking points”
- Tested in Southern BC in Feb. 99
- 600 Churches involved and 18,500 people trained
- 1.8 million people exposed to media message
through 4 high quality commercials, including Paul Henderson.
- 3 Maritime Provinces involved in 6 week campaign
- You will see 4 weeks of 60' commercials
- Manitoba / Ontario campaign in the spring
of 2001
- Quebec in 2002
- Introduce church leadership team - draw attention to bulletin
insert #1
- Announce involvement of internet share.powertochange.com

Week 4: September
17 - 23
6 weeks to campaign start: Pulpit theme -"Prayer - God is not
willing that any should perish."
- Challenge people to pray
- Encourage prayer to “take our community, Saskatchewan and Canada
for Christ”
- Share the prayer strategy for the church during PtoC
- Introduce Prayer coordinator and possibly a “prayer testimony”
- Show people how they can be involved in prayer and “sign them up”
(use bulletin insert
#2) Take time during the service to fill out the "Who
am I praying for" section
- Encourage church leadership team to attend “kick-off” rally to be
held in your area within the next 5 to 6 weeks
- NOTE: requests for materials must be forwarded to the Regional
Operations Coordinator by OCTOBER 5
NOTE: Ordering should include all materials - such as a banner,
window signs, and books.

Week 5: September
24 - 30
5 weeks to campaign start: Pulpit theme -"Learning how to share
our faith."
- Challenge people to attend a PtoC training session
- Use a training bulletin
insert #3 with an outline of the training content and the
schedule of training events
- Have someone share a testimony who has recently shared their faith
with someone else
- Challenge people to attend the training. (The challenge for involvement
in the campaign will come later)
- Collect response form from bottom of bulletin insert. Submit results
to Regional Operations Coordinator

Week 6: October
1 - 7
4 weeks to campaign start: Pulpit theme -"Praying for my Neighbourhood"
- Challenge people to take a prayer walk through their neighbourhood
- praying for each home
- Challenge people to ask God for “divine appointments” during the
campaign
- Encourage people to sign up for the prayer strategy in your church
- Give an up-date as to how the campaign works and share God's faithfulness
in providing campaign funding
- Review the training schedule for your
region
- Make sure “PtoC room” set up is arranged and, if needed

Week 7: October
8 - 14
3 weeks to campaign start: Pulpit theme -"Impacting Our Community"
- Explain to your congregation how your church will be involved with
the Power to Change campaign
- Neighbourhood strategies, Special Events and
existing church based ministries, Personal Opportunities (Divine
appointments) and Call center/Internet response
- Use bulletin insert
#4 to outline the strategies
- Inform your people as to how they can get involved
- Continue to motivate people to take the training
- Encourage people to pray and to become part of the prayer strategy

Week 8: October
15 - 21
2 weeks to campaign start: Pulpit theme - "Investing in Evangelism"
- Continue to share the vision to impact your city/region with the
Gospel
- Share your local church budget and explain how the funds will be
invested in reaching people
- Challenge people to give through a special offering to cover the
cost of materials for the campaign
- Encourage people to attend special "days of prayer & fasting" in
your region (Communication
will come from the prayer Chairman in your region)

Week 9: October
22 - 28
1 week to campaign start: Pulpit theme - "For such a time as this"
- Show the promo video again reminding your people of the impact of
the campaign in BC and Atlantic Canada - see the weekly communication
for statistics and stories
- Challenge people to take their prayer walks in their neighbourhood
- Inform people of orientation meetings that will be held in your
church within the next 10 days for all trained workers to show how
each person will be involved in the campaign (The church coordinator
and the senior pastor should run these meetings)
- It is not too late to take the training! Remind people of remaining
training dates for your
region
- Share information regarding the special events that will be held
in your region as
well as church based events under the “power to change” theme.

Week 10: October
29 - November 4
Campaign starts. Pulpit theme - "Christ is the Power to Change"
- Encourage people to pray for people on the "Who am I praying
for" list
- Use this week to have orientation meetings with your people so that
they know what to do as their part in your churches campaign strategy
- Encourage people to use the “PtoC room” as the main communications
center. (Picking up information, dropping off completed assignments
and sharing results.)
- Make sure you have picked up your supply of PtoC packets from the
distribution center (depot)
in your region
- Encourage people to respond through “way of life” witnessing opportunities
as people within their sphere of influence see the commercials
- Hang up the "Power to Change" banner on the church
- Make available PtoC window signs

Week 11 - 13: November
5 - 25
Campaign is underway. Church Strategy implementation
Pulpit theme - "Christ is the Power to Change"
- Challenge people to continue pray for divine appointments and for
boldness on the part of Christians to share their faith. Pray for
a “spirit of conviction and need for forgiveness” to descend upon
your region
- Remind people of the special events that are being held in your
region and to bring un-churched friends, neighbours, relatives,
etc.
- Implement your church strategies during this three week period
- Praise God for the results
- Use the pulpit during this time to allow people to share how God
is using them
- Top

Week 14: November
26
Post Campaign
- Praise God for changed lives including what He has done in ours
- Encourage your trained workers to make follow-up appointments with
their contacts. Encourage them to use the 4 follow-up lessons in the
PtoC booklet. Encourage people to look at the Jesus Film on the CD
ROM
- Tabulate your results and forward to your regional operations center
- Attend the praise rally (if one is being held)
- Fill out the evaluation forms (supplied by the PtoC office)
- Close down your "PtoC room" unless you want to keep going!
- Review the application of the ALPHA program and order the required
supplies for January, 2001
