| Sep 20 2000 | Praise to God! He is at work and His hand can be seen at work in and through and this campaign. I was impressed on to give you some more prayer requests and also another answer that we got today. God is so good! Praise His name!
Prayer Items
1. 2 Thessalonians 3:1(Living Bible), "Pray first that the Lord's message will spread rapidly and triumph wherever it goes, winning converts as it did when it came to you." Pray that there will be willing Christians that will actively participate in this campaign and want to freely share their faith with others in whom they come in contact with.
2. Pray that all the details will be worked out so that the follow-up of callers goes smoothly and efficiently.
3. Pray for Pastor Brad as he presents Power to Change at Gardner College on September 26 that the students will be receptive to the message and that they will be will be willing to participate in this campaign.
4. Pray that Power to Change may be able to be presented at Augustana University and Canadian Luthern Bible Institution. May these students be receptive to the message that Power to Change has to offer them.
5. Pray that the different churches in this area will work together well. As Ephesians 4:3 says "Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace." Pray that broken relationships between individuals and churches would be healed so that Christ can reach our communities through a unified body.

1. Pray that someone steps forward to do the position of follow -up coordinator for our regional leadership team. This is a very vital area and is an important part of this ministry.
2. Pray for the Camrose Business Fundraising Breakfast with Archie McLean on Monday, September 25. Pray that people will respond generously to the needs of this campaign.
3. Be in prayer for the Trainers Training at Mill Woods Assembly on September 23 that more people in this area will be trained as we have quite a large area to cover. We do not want our trainers to get exhausted from having to travel great distances to train others.
4. Please pray for our regional team as we meet and discuss areas of concern and of great excitement regarding Power to Change. Our next meeting is October 12.
5. Pray that many more people will attend the October strategy meeting on October 26. Pray that they get excited about this campaign and they as they share this excitement will their congregations and friends.
6. Pray for a time, date and place for the youth rally in conjunction with Power to Change.
7. Please pray that many will attend the prayer workshop, "The Hour That Changes The World" on October 13. That many people will get excited about their own personal prayer time. Pray that many people also will pray for this campaign in our area and also as it takes place in the rest of northern Alberta.
8. Pray for people to be willing to send prayer requests in from other churches so that we can pray together with all the other churches in regards to this campaign.

1. Curtis and Kim are thankful for the positive responses that they have gotten from the Youth Pastors in regards to a youth rally for Power to Change.
2. Pastor Brad and Norm Sinnamon are encouraged by the number of invitations they have been asked for to hand out for the up-coming Business Fundraising Breakfast.
3. Thirty people were in attendance at our August 29th strategy meeting, they represented twenty different churches. These people will be excellent contacts.
4. Nine people were trained at the Trainers Training in Edmonton. They are excited about training others for this ministry.

1. Please prepare your hearts to seek the Lord in what He
wants you to do individually to reach your unsaved
neighbours, friends and loved ones for the Lord.
2.Pray that the Lord prepares the people in this area to seek after the Lord.
3. Pray that many in our area will attend the up-coming
training workshops in the Camrose area at Century
Meadows Baptist Church, Word of Life Church, Messiah
Luthern Church and Gardner Bible College. Pray that
many will come out and get excited about learning how to share their faith.
4. Pray that dates get finalised for the training sessions in Wetaskiwin that all the details work out smoothly.
5. Please pray that many churches will have the wisdom to
know how many books they need to buy for their
outreach programs.
6. Pray that many youth will bring their friends out to the youth event that is planned.

1. The youth event will be on December 2 at
7 p.m. at the Charlie Killiam School gym.
2. One quarter of our budget has been raised or pledged.
We are thankful for this and pray that God will help us
meet our goal. |

1. Pray for motivation and enthusiasm to build more as we
move closer to the start of this campaign.
2. Pray that we don't double up our efforts at some things
and because of this forget to do other things. May we
have wisdom in knowing what we are to do.
3. Pray that the youth will be open to the Holy Spirit's
leading, as they invite their friends to the youth rally.
4. Pray that all of the workers in this campaign will be able
to accomplish all that God is asking them to do with
Spirit-filled joy.
5. Pray that people's eyes and hearts will be open to hear
spiritual things this fall. This is very critical as the Bible
says that only God can open their hearts and eyes and
we must pray for this. ( 2 Corinthians 4)

1. There are three training workshops in Wetaskiwin. They
are at the Ebenezer Baptist Church, Full Gospel Church
and the Church of God.(check www.share.powertochange.com for more info.
2. Praise God for the great turnout for the Power to Change
prayer workshop. Thank you again to Pastor Clayton and
the praise team, Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle for
hosting it, and for all the presenters who did such a
wonderful job. Again, thank you very much!
3. For a great turnout to a training workshop in Viking.
Praise the Lord that different areas of our region are
getting excited about this campaign.
Proverbs 16:1 "The preparations of the heart in man, and
the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord." I like how the
Living Bible puts this verse, "We can make our plans, but the final outcome is in God's hands."

Here is the prayer requests and answers to prayer for this week.
Prayer Requests
1. Pray that each of us would have Christ's love, grace, and
compassion mirrored in us as we think and pray who we
will take the packets, too.
2. Pray that God will draw people to Himself; we need to be
only faithful in sharing with them what God has laid on our
hearts to share with them.
3. Pray that God would show what still needs to be done as
the commercials are only a little ways away from being
aired.
4. What does God want you and me to do for this campaign?
May this be our prayer on our hearts this week.
5. Prayer for this campaign is crucial. Thanks be to God that
we are meeting on a weekly basis to bring the needs of
this campaign before our heavenly Father. Come join us if
you can, and if you can't, I still know that your prayers are
there. Thanks everyone!
5. Above all, may we know the power to change us all on a
daily basis.

1. Pray for people to have a chance to look at the packets
and that they sense what God is trying to say and that
He truly loves them.
2. Pray that we have compassion and love for these that we
take the packets to that they would feel God's love for
them.
3. Pray that new believer would find a church of their choice
that would care for them and disciple them.
4. Pray that all who are trained would have lots of different
opportunities to openly share their faith with others.
Praise God for:
1. Praise God for our country that we can share the gospel
in such a way. We have much to be thankful for.
2. Praise God that we have a chance to share the gospel to
people in our areas of influence. Praise God that people
are knowing more about God than they did before. May we
all have a desire to share our faith.
3. Praise God that He does God before us and that He is in control of this campaign and He knows the outcome.

1. Pray that the churches will be ready and willing to receive
new converts into their church families.
2. Pray against the darkness that surrounds the lost and
that God would soften their hearts and ready their souls
for the good seed; that they would understand the love of
God and become a new creature in Christ.
3. Pray that all Christians will follow the Spirit's leading in
loving people and then be willing to share their faith with
them.
4. Pray that God would encourage people to give the needed
finances for this campaign.
5. Pray for divine appointments and for boldness on the part
of all Christians to share their faith with non-Christians that
they know.
6. Pray for those who would like to discourage others from
believing that God has great things in store for this
campaign. Let us seek God and He will answer our
prayers.

1. We thank God for the willingness of businesses to put up
the posters for The Goal of My Life with Paul Henderson.
2. We thank God that $11,000-$11,500 has been raised so
far.
3. We are thankful that people who do not know the Lord
have said that they seen the commercials on the TV.
4. Praise God that people are getting excited about the
Youth Rally and the Paul Henderson night.
5. Praise God that 15 people were trained recently in
Donalda.

Here are the praise items for the youth and the Paul Henderson event.
1. There were 300 in attendance at the youth event. Response card info. not available yet.
2. There were 820 in attendance. 62 prayed to receive Christ as their Saviour, 126 renewed their faith in the Lord, and 7 asked for more information. What a tremendous work God has done in this region. Thank you for your prayers that you have prayed for these events. | angel9@telusplanet.net | |
